Available either in sturdy aluminium or the heavier steel version, Speedframe is gaining acceptance in assembly plants and workshops in industries ranging from electrical and electronic, engineering, glass and plastics through to woodworking and metalworking, ceramic, masonry and textiles operations.

The key benefit offered by Speedframe is that it requires no welding whatsoever because it operates on a strong, die-cast connector system which can be taken apart and reassembled in a different configuration if required.

This is of great benefit to business that need to add more workspace facilities while they are undergoing expansion, as well as those companies that relocate often because they can take the system and re-install it on new premises.

“Basically, Speedframe is so flexible that it is designed as a custom-fit even from the most basic of drawings,” said Managing Director of Morfurniture, Mr Kevin Fowler.

“This allows very quick and easy installation and the product fits together so accurately the complete system is as strong and sturdy as any welded alternative.

“But its main advantage over welded assembly benches and shelves is that as soon as relocation is required – whether internally or to a new location – Speedframe is uncoupled at the connectors and reconfigured to fit the next premises.

“Our aluminium frame is strong to start with, yet we developed the steel version as well in response to a market call for the maximum strength available in construction.”

Traditional assembly line and industrial benches and shelving systems can lack cost-efficiency due to a shape and structure that normally is not able to be altered.

Furthermore, unlike Speedframe, traditional solutions pose a difficult logistics problem due to weight and cumbersome size for when they need repositioning or relocation.

Speedframe is a tubular framing possessing a high level of strength. It has a patented design and on-site assembly can be done quickly and easily.

Speedframe’s die-cast connectors (square or rounded) not only make for a strong connection, they also allow for different powder coating options.

Manufactured and supplied by Morfurniture, it can be configured from the simplest of sketches or drawings and supplied in tubing cut to any size, height or length, therefore not limiting the designer to any standard dimensions.

Pre-finished tubes and accessories have end-caps to ensure a neat finish, while only simple tools are used to assemble the system. Should they be required, castors can be installed for movement or screw-in feet can be fitted to level or lift items from the floor.

As Speedframe can stand high off the floor, work for cleaning staff is simplified and normally done better.
