Project Manager (Exhibitions and Festivals) of Powerhouse Museum, Mr Ross Glendenning, is very happy with the results and states the key benefit to using Speedframe was its ability to create a light and visually transparent language for the exhibition.

Through the process of design, both Mr Glendenning and Speedframe were able to work together and customise all of the dimensions of the shelving and showcased objects to achieve the desired effect.

“Everyone is very happy with the results, it turned out to be a very comfortable exercise,” said Mr Glendenning.

“It is a very flexible system and from our perspective it seems to have worked very, very well.”

Mr Glendenning believes it was very important that Speedframe was able to work very closely with the designer and Powerhouse Museum.

“One of the most important things we found was the ability for Speedframe to work closely with the designer in meetings and confirm all dimensions,” said Mr Glendenning.

“And having the supplier involved in the installation and fabrication of the Speedframe structures within the gallery added to the accuracy and convenience,” he said.
